We are Brian and Tina Smith. We founded Landlookers in 2020 as a small family-run land investment firm. Simply put, we were looking for investment opportunities and realized that there are many people who own property that for whatever reason they can't or don't want to use. Unfortunately it is just sitting unused while the owner is missing out on a chance to cash in and rid themselves from the property taxes and other burdens.

As we started to make our own land investment choices, we realized there was an opportunity to help others. Sometimes owning a property can become a burden for various reasons. Maybe you inherited a property from a family member that you have no interest in owning. Perhaps you purchased a property years ago but now your goals and desires have changed. Perhaps just finding the time to use the property is scarce and the burden of paying property taxes for something you'll never use just feels like a waste. Or, maybe the idea of a quick and easy pile of cash in your pocket for something you won't really miss sounds appealing. If any of these scenarios sounds like your situation, we are here to help!

One of the most rewarding parts of this venture for us has been to get to know the stories of our sellers. Some tell stories of how they acquired the land that they no longer want and we get to hear fascinating details about their lives.
